The 75AX is the next generation of "60 size" class airplane engines. It features the same bolt pattern as the original 61FX though boasts almost an a half a horsepower more! The 61A carburetor has an angled back needle valve which keeps your fingers much further away from a spinning propeller. Twin ball bearings support the hardened steel crankshaft for the ultimate in efficiency. Includes new 4040 Power Box™ muffler which increases volume for greater power, while at the same time being very compact. Angular head design looks great and significantly increases surface area for better cooling. This ABL (Advance Bimetallic Liner) sleeved engine will provide years of power and reliability. O.S. Engines Four Stroke FSa-72 II (61N) W/F-5030 SILENCER #34721
The O.S. FSa-72 II is the latest version of this popular sized, high-performance four-stroke engine. Updates include a revised oil breather system which now vents from the crankcase rather than being re-ingested in the inlet to improve the running consistency. The rocker cover is now black in order to improve the appearance of the engine when fitted to a scale model. The FSa-72 II sharing the same mounting dimensions of the previous generation aswell as the older FL-70 and FS-70U making it a simple bolt-in replacement. The compact external dimensions and power/torque means it is ideal for most types of model designed for .46 2 strokes or .70 4 strokes. Like all the FS series the FSa II engines use a super-smooth carburettor with anti 'spit' inlet and an ultra-quiet silencer. If you have a flying filed 'noise' problem, then this is the engine you need for your average sport model. New cylinder for considerably more power and efficient cooling. Very thin piston ring for minimal friction and maximum power. Magneto-electronic ignition with separate power coil and ignition coil, giving maximum power and smooth running. Small Champion spark plug RZ7C with 10 mm thread. Compact die cast crankcase. Double counterbalanced crankshaft, very accurately aligned for the necessary concentric running, supported in three ballbearings. Needle roller bearings in conrod. Walbro carburetor fitted with a priming pump to fill the carburetor for starting and a efficient airfilter intake silencer with integrated choke flap. Robust pullcord starter The new cylinder with the very thin high performance single piston ring is adapted from the extremely high power G230RC car engine for helicopter use. This new cylinder has four retaining screws as apposed to two for the G230RC cylinder. The extremely wide cooling fins are invaluable for helicopter use. Other components are also optimized for helicopters, for example the crankshaft is very accurately aligned for the necessary concentric running. There is a very robust pullcord starter as well as very efficient airfilter intake silencer fitted to this engine. The carburetor is fitted with small priming pump to fill the carburetor for starting. The Walbro carburettor is extremely reliable, is designed for the higher rpm involved, the completely dependable magneto ignition without contact breaker, the clean running due to low dilution full synthetic oil resulting in the absence of the smelly smoke trail, the availability of the fuel at every filling station with it’s very low price.
