The Scorpion HKxx -4025  series motors are built with 8mm hardened steel shafts that will last through countless hours of flying fun, but occasionally, on a "Less than Perfect" landing, you may bend or break one. For these occasions, we offer factory replacement shafts for all the hk 4025 series Scorpion Helicopter Motors.

This shaft kit is for the HK-xx 4025 series motors that used in newer T-600 Heli. It measures 8mm in diameter, and is 88.5mm in length. The pinion end of this shaft is ground down to 6mm to allow the user to install 6mm pinion gears. The shaft kit will also fit other brushless motors that require a 6mm shaft of this length. The shafts can be cut shorter with a Dremel tool and a cut-off wheel if necessary to fit other motors.

Note: The shafts in the Scorpion motors are a slight press fit into the aluminum front housing. The shafts will not just slide out when the setscrews are removed. They need to be pressed out in a bearing press, or in a drill press, with the front housing of the motor supported in a block of wood to prevent warping the front housing.

Scorpion HK-40 Motor Bearing Kit.

In order to keep your motor in top running condition, you need a good set of bearings. Occasionally, after a crash or landing in the dirt, the bearings can become damaged and need to be replaced.
The Scorpion HK-40mm Motor Bearing Kit includes a pair of original equipment replacement bearings to fit the Scorpion HK-40 & HKIII-40 Series motors.(Except HK-4015)

Please note, the bearings are an exact fit into the motor housings, so they do fit snugly. When removing the old bearings, you may need to gently tap them out. However, when installing the new bearings, do not tap them in with anything, as this can dent the ball races and ruin the bearings.
When installing ball bearings they need to be pressed in by the outer part of the race. Never apply pressure to the inner race, as this can damage the bearing and lead to premature failure.

The Scorpion Motor Bearing Lubrication Kit will help you maintain the bearings in your Scorpion brushless electric motor. Today's brushless motors, especially the helicopter motors, can be pretty hard on the bearings. In an average flight, the motor in a 450 size helicopter spins around almost a quarter million times! Without proper lubrication, the balls in the bearings can wear out quickly, leading to premature failure. At these speeds, the oil can get thrown out of the bearings in as little as 10-15 flights. Once the bearings loose their lubrication, they can heat up and wear out very quickly. A small drop placed on each bearing about once every 10-15 flights is enough to maintain proper lubrication to insure the longest possible life for your motor bearings.

The oil included in this kit contains everything necessary to keep your motor bearings in top condition. The specially designed oil not only lubricates, it also bonds to the metal parts, displaces moisture and prevents corrosion to extend the life of your motor bearings.

The oil is safe for use on Acrylics, Polyester, Nylon, Vinyl, Delrin, Teflon, Formica, Polyethylene and Polypropylene. It is also safe on most painted surfaces. There is no visible effect on Buna-N, Viton or Neoprene rubber products, so it is safe around most fuel lines, O-rings and other rubber products.

The Scorpion Motor Bearing Lubrication Kit contains a 23ml bottle of bearing lubricant, a leak-proof twist-on cap, and a needle point applicator (19.5mm in length, 1.3mm in diameter) with protective cover. You have to remove the screw inside the Aluminum cap before use.
