The Platinum V5 180A HV V5 is an incredibly powerful and consistent ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) with a 5-12V switch BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit), suitable for 550-700 helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Its exceptional performance is guaranteed by the built-in 32-bit processor, paired with a specially developed algorithm for RPM accuracy, setting it apart from similar controllers on the market. Additionally, the Platinum V5 180A is equipped with various protocols allowing different transmitter systems to access ESC data, including Mikado VBar system and Futaba S.BUS2.

The modern design of the Platinum V5 also incorporates numerous protective features to ensure safety during flight. These include safeguards against overheating of the controller and attached capacitors. To proactively manage heat generation, the controller features a dual-sided heat sink with side ventilation, facilitating efficient airflow through the ESC for effective cooling. Should these measures prove insufficient, the ESC's protective functions engage to prevent further damage.
